You can take your bike on the train although there are some specifications such as the length of your bike and folding down your bike.
Bike Reservations
You are able to reserve a place for your bike on the train you are travelling on, to do this you will need your ticket reference number. You can also send your bike before you travel so it is available for you to pick up as soon as you arrive at your destination.
If you decide to use the baggage service it does not guarantee that your bike will travel on the same train as you or arrive at the same time, although your bike will be put on the next available train service going to your specified destination, you can pick up your bike up within 24 hours.
Folding your bike
If you can fold your bike and place it in a bike bag, then you are able carry it on board yourself as part of your luggage allowance, making sure that the overall size is no more than 1metre and 20cm in length.
